Fascinated by human behavior, Mr. Heiser loves to find the subtleties in each role he plays, as it`s the little things that bring a character to life.

Having worked in theatre, television and film, Joe strongly believes it’s important to understand every medium, for it allows the freedom to stay connected with the truth of the character, beyond the text or the script.

A native Spanish speaker, he received his BA in Theatre & Humanities from la Universidad del Sagrado Corazon, in Santurce, Puerto Rico. And went on scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in, Manhattan, New York.

A proud husband and father, Joe also enjoys cooking and bringing people together through food. He wrote a book of poems but never tried to publish it. Has a guitar which he pretends to know how to play and loves the Italian language which he has yet to master.

A work in progress, he continues his training by working with some of the best acting teachers in the business, such as: Anthony Abeson, Stephany Feury, Marjorie Ballentine, Ivanna Chubbuck, Sharon Chatten, William Esper, Jackie Bartone and Julie Garfield, to name a few.

Joe is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, and AEA.
